Every correction, highlight, signature and redaction is kept as a separate instruction, and saving produces a new file. You can always produce the document exactly as it arrived, and show precisely what was changed, by whom and when. Every other tool in this category edits the file itself and hopes nobody asks.
What it does
Pages are opened, counted, combined, rotated and rewritten on your machine. Nothing is uploaded while you are working, and nothing is uploaded at all unless you press Keep. If you handle other people's tax returns, medical notes or contracts, that is not a technical detail, it is the whole point.
